We are excited to see the progress of the The Siler Yard Arts+Creativity Center project! Having recently broken ground, this project combines affordable live/work rental space for lower-income creative entrepreneurs with shared resources in a 65-unit complex with eight residential buildings.
The creative entrepreneurs served by this project will come from diverse backgrounds and will work in various arts including music, visual arts, dance, theater, applied arts, media arts, and healing arts.
Shared resources include meeting rooms, performance spaces, a community makerspace led by Make Santa Fe, and a public open space.
Additionally, Siler Yard will be the first net-zero energy multi-family project in Santa Fe using rooftop solar arrays to generate 100% of needed energy and will use cutting-edge plans for water efficiency.
