We are eager to check out this book by Santa Fe author Dan Flores about the proliferation of coyotes in America – in spite of governmental efforts to eradicate them. Written with a blend of scientific research, personal observation, and references to coyotes’ role in Native American culture, this book won the Sigurd F. Olson Nature Writing Award and was a finalist for the PEN/E.O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award.
