Easter is this Sunday, April 17th and that means the pilgrimage to El Santuario de Chimayo is underway. Before the pandemic, as many as tens of thousands of people participated in this journey each year, walking along roads leading to the famed chapel to arrive tomorrow, Good Friday. Canceled for the past two years due to Covid-19, the pilgrimage is back on this year.
