New Mexico Actors Lab (NMAL) kicks off its 2021 season with a truth-based docu-drama “The Lifespan of a Fact” based on arguments between noted American essayist John D’Agata and young fact-checker Jim Fingal, who is sent by a major New York magazine to parse D’Agata’s piece about a spectacular Las Vegas suicide. What results is a debate about how facts can be distorted to create a more compelling narrative.
The play opens August 5th and runs through August 22nd.
