Starting this Friday: Shakespeare in the Garden presents Romeo & Juliet! Performances will be held at the amphitheater in the Botanical Garden on Museum Hill, with views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains as the play’s ultimate backdrop. If you love attending Shakespeare in the Garden’s annual offering as much as we do, then you may be surprised and confused that this year’s event is already upon us! Well you are not going crazy–past year’s productions always ran in August, but this year they are performing in June in order to avoid the rains of our monsoon season which unfortunately canceled 4 out of the 14 performances in 2018. Talk about a tragedy!
