Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, the Santa Fe Indian Market is the largest and most prestigious juried Native arts show in the world.
150,000 visitors descend on Santa Fe each year to buy art directly from the artists at this iconic event. Roughly 1,100 artists participate in Indian Market, all from over 200 federally recognized tribes from the U.S. and Canada. For many visitors, this is a rare opportunity to meet the artists and learn about contemporary Indian arts and cultures.
Quality and authenticity are the hallmarks of the Santa Fe Indian Market. This year’s Indian Market includes a Native American clothing contest, Native Cinema Showcase, and performances of indigenous music, dance, storytelling and comedy. Be sure to also check out the food booths for fry bread, Navajo tacos, roasted corn and other native treats!
