Arguably the single event that brings the most visitors to Santa Fe is the iconic Santa Fe Indian Market. Celebrating its 97th anniversary this year, Santa Fe Indian Market is the largest and most prestigious juried Native arts show in the world.
Roughly 1,000 artists participate in Indian Market – all are from over 200 federally recognized tribes from the U.S. and Canada. 100,000+ visitors from all over the world descend on Santa Fe each year to buy art directly from the artists.
The weekend-long event includes music and dance performances, book signings and workshops, cinema showcases and a fashion show.
