If you are looking for something fun to do with this kiddos this weekend, then go check out the Pop-Up Playground in the Railyard Park, a fun and free family-friendly event!
A Pop-Up Playground is a celebration of child-directed play, where kids of all ages can build the ultimate fort city using recycled materials such as logs, pallets, boxes, rope, and fabric. Volunteer Playworkers will be on site to supervise the playground, but will not intervene. This event is designed to allow kids to create their own world, without the interference of adults. The idea is that when children create their own physical environment, they learn through working together, trying new things, and making mistakes.
There will also be a full line-up of family-friendly music, mud play, craft stations, and food for sale.
