Taos Mountain is an inspiring land mass to behold.  Standing at 12,305 feet high, it is known locally as Pueblo Peak and is part of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range of the Rocky Mountains.

Long held to be a sacred place by both inhabitants of Taos Pueblo and non-natives alike, here is a beautiful winter shot of Taos Mountain by Geraint Smith.
