Coming up on October 6th and running through November 12th, check out the New Mexico Chinese Lantern Festival being held at Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Open nightly from 5:30 – 10:30 pm, the festival features over 30 larger-than-life illuminated displays, all crafted by Chinese artisans from Zigong, Sichuan, China’s cultural capital for the ancient art of lantern-making. Performances are included in the admission price and handicrafts, food and drink will be available for purchase.
Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for youth 17 and under.
