Day of the Dead actually falls on November 1st, but if you’re looking for a kid-friendly and crafty event to honor the holiday that falls on a weekend, check out Day of the Dead/Dia de Muertos at The Museum of International Folk Art.
Offered on Sunday, October 29th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, event festivities include sugar skull decorating, altars, live music, seasonal refreshments and more.
Costumes are encouraged, but not required. FREE admission courtesy of the Folk Art Committee and Friends of Folk Art of the Museum of New Mexico Foundation.
