Day of the Dead/Dia de Los Muertos at The Museum of International Folk Art

Day of the Dead actually falls on November 1st, but if you’re looking for a kid-friendly and crafty event to honor the holiday that falls on a weekend, check out Day of the Dead/Dia de Los Muertos at The Museum of International Folk Art.

Offered on Sunday, October 28th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, event festivities include sugar skull decorating, altars, Calavera face painting, live music, seasonal refreshments, and more.

Come dressed as a calaca (skeleton). Bring flowers, candles and/or a memento to add to the community altar.
