Exciting news for fans of CURRENTS NEW MEDIA – it is opening a permanent, new year-round exhibition and experience space entitled CURRENTS 826 on Santa Fe’s iconic Canyon Road!
Tonight is the grand opening at 826 Canyon Road from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
The new space will showcase dynamic experiential new media art installations and offers a futuristic gift shop featuring artist-made objects fabricated with digital technology.
The December opening features artists Jodi Stuart, Christine Remy, John Ressler, and a surprise VR artist. The exhibition will be up until early March, 2019.
For fans of the festival, don’t worry! The annual June festival will continue to be held at El Museo Cultural in the Santa Fe Railyard, and 2019 marks its 10th year of CURRENTS NEW MEDIA.
