I have been meaning to get to the Churro Bar food truck for some time now, after hearing rave review after rave review. Finally, I sampled their churros and wow! They are delicious!
If you’re a purist, the Churro Bar offers your standard sugar and cinnamon churro. But then they offer fillings and toppings. The fillings are dulce de leche, chocolate, and apple or pineapple (depending on season). And the toppings range from berries to nuts to bruleed bananas or lemons.
My favorite? It’s a toss up between the hazelnut chocolate filled topped with bruleed banana and almond shavings and the lemon filled topped with coconut and bruleed lemon. The Mini Trio option gives you the chance to try 3 small churros – perfect for sampling the many flavor combinations.
Located at 4420 Rodeo Road in the Santa Fe Place parking lot across from Bed, Bath and Beyond and directly next to Meineke Car Care Center.
Open 4:00 – 9:00 pm daily, closed Monday and Tuesdays.
