We’re eager to check this title out: The Wives of Los Alamos: A Novel by TaraShea Nesbit.
Set in Los Alamos during WWII and the making of the atomic bomb, the story is told from the point of view of the scientists’ wives as they navigate the secrecy of The Manhattan Project while going about their daily lives.
Written in the first person plural (the collective “we”), this debut novel received numerous accolades including finalist for the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize and winner of two New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards.
