Bird walk at the Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve

If you’re up early and looking for something to do outside in the early morning sunshine, check out the free bird walk at the Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve today from 8:00 am – 10:00 am.

Offered by the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, volunteer Rocky Turner will be your bird-seeking guide through the Preserve, which contains three distinct plant communities or zones: riparian/wetland, transitional, and dry uplands.

The Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve is a 35-acre nature preserve adjacent to El Rancho de las Golondrinas in La Cienega.

Tip: If you can’t make it to today’s bird walk, you can catch another one soon – they are offered monthly.
