It’s no secret that Santa Fe has an affordable housing problem. 53 percent of the city’s workforce lives outside city limits, and nearly a third of those people commute from more than 20 miles away. New construction could help solve this problem, but builders are citing severe labor shortages for the decrease in single-family home construction and for delayed timelines. So what is the solution? Could robots be the answer? Enter Fastbrick Robotics: an Australia-based engineering firm, that has created a robot that is able to build a standard brick home in one to three days!
