Located on Garcia Street, an iconic road in Santa Fe’s Historic Eastside, The School for Advanced Research is housed in an adobe compound built by Amelia Elizabeth White and Martha Root White, renowned art promoters and travelers who came to Santa Fe in the 1920s.
Coined as El Delirio (“The Madness”) by the White sisters, the 8 acre compound is open to the public by reservation on specified dates – the next being held on Friday, March 13th from 10:00 – 11:30 am.
The tour highlights the gardens, architecture, and fascinating history of the compound.
