Recently we were walking a land lot with a local builder. He commented that while transplants to Santa Fe often covet the Jemez Mountain view to the west, most locals are all about the Sangre de Cristo Mountain view to the east.
Frankly, we love all the mountain ranges that surround The City Different, but this shot of Santa Fe Baldy gives you an idea of why some Santa Feans have a fierce and abiding love for the Sangres above all other mountain peaks.
